I have no trouble fitting this piece. I wear the 3/8" and it clears my nose with room to spare. It is my favorite ring.

I guess if your piercing had a low placement you would be able to see the gap in the ring but I found it to be perfect, much easier than wearing a captive bead ring. It's a nice size and doesn't wiggle around too much. The other reviewer may be right that the metal in the piece doesn't seem that bendable.
Generally I thought it was a great little piece of jewelry for the price.

It's exactly as pictured. Like some reviewers said, it does have that gap that I was concerned about when I first put it on, but it actually doesn't show as long as it's in all the way. I find that I do have to periodically check to make sure it is in all the way if I've been engaging in a rough and tumble activity, and I've actually completely lost it twice. So it's not a ring I'd wear super long term, but honestly it does look great, so I'm glad I got it! One other thing is that the little stopper on the end won't go through the piercing, so the first time putting it on (backwards) was really difficult and awkward. I got the hang of it after that though.

I ordered a 5/16" hoop and they sent me the 3/8" hoop instead. Luckily, they let me send it back, but then the one they sent me to exchange it with was the same size! I messaged them about it and even included a picture of the mistake but I guess they seem to think that their 3/8" hoops measure 5/16". I wouldn't recommend buying your ring from them unless you want the 3/8" ring anyway. The good news is, they responded to my emails and gave me my money back.

I was very worried when I read the other reviews that it would be constantly moving, however, my ring stays perfectly in place. It did take a couple attempts to actually put the ring in, but it does stay put. I like that depending on what I'm wearing, it gives me a punk or semi-professional look. Very nice.
