Nice, but hard to remove ballAug 29, 2007

These rings were the correct size and style that I wanted, but when they arrived the rings were so tightly crimped onto the balls that I had to use pliers to open them. I don't think that is normal, it may be, but all captured ball jewelry I have purchased from retail stores was much looser and easier to handle. I have since "adjusted" the rings so that the balls can be fairly easily removed and replaced and I am happy with them. I am now wary of purchasing captured ball jewelry over the internet as I cannot look at it or touch it before I buy it and I don't want to repeat the struggle I had with these.
