I have had my tongue pierced for about 10 years, long enough to try several types of products. First off, this thing is a good length and its fairly flat which is a fun change of pace but the shape is uncomfortable and snags on food and your tongue. Plus, its not even as classy looking as it is pictured; it actually looks really cheap(shocking I know). But more alarmingly, the dome popped out of the socket that it was fixed into after only a few weeks of wear. The dome/sequin part popped off while I was drinking from a straw and almost choked me. Once that part had broken off, the metal socket that it was affixed to on the barbell was jagged and sharp and difficult to unscrew with my fingers without being cut. Finally, once I had the dang thing out, it appeared to have been held together by hot glue (ewww I had that in my mouth for weeks!). I would definitely recommend going with another product, especially for the price. It is seriously worth like .99 cents if that even. And if you're absolutely in love with this item, I would say only wear it occasionally. It is just not durable enough for everyday wear.

I am pleased with the length of the ring as it is not long; I haven't bitten it once. It is also very pretty. The item was delivered quickly.
