I'm a teenager who refuses to get her ears pierced, and I thought these were perfect! They don't make my ears sore after I wear them for a whole day (or at least not too sore, and the soreness isn't a huge problem anyway). I must agree with an earlier review that the price was a little on the high side, but I consider this a deal if you can fulfill the free shipping requirements.
As seen in the picture, there's an adjustable screw-like backing, and this backing also bends out when you're first putting it on your ear. The part that gets clipped to your ear is blunt, which is why there is only a slight soreness.
Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase. :)

My daughter wants earings but does not want to get her ears pierced (yet) so these were a good option.

I ordered this item for my best friend and plan to give her as Christmas gift. The shipping is very fast. It looks nice and the design is very comfortable. I took one star off because I think it's still a little pricey if you add up the shipping. But it's hard to find this kind of design in store and it deserves 4 stars.
