4The Best Nose Stud I've GottenMar 17, 2009
By Little Owl "Ari"
I've encountered a lot of frustration with my nose piercing. This nose bone relieved all my aggravation.

Originally, I was pierced with a nose screw, which is absolutely impossible to put back in unless you really know what you're doing. After I was unable to my nose screw back in, I bought a STB nose stud ("straight to be bent") which worked for a while until the little stone fell out. I was also concerned because the rod was very skinny, and I didn't want my hole to become smaller, and close up over time.

This nose bone is a good bargain given the fact that it's 14kT white gold. The stone is a good size, and looks like a diamond. It sparkles when it catches the light, unlike some cheap stones you get in nose studs.

Just a warning though: Putting this in while most likely make your nose bleed. It's crucial that when you push this into the hole, you push it through in the right angle. Other than that, it was a good length and fits snugly into my nose. I'm very happy with it.

5Perfect Product, Perfect Price!May 23, 2011
By C. Jameson
I've had my nose pierced for several years now - the original stud had a sparkly but cheap paste jewel that was glued in and fell out after about a year - ever since, I've been on a quest for a replacement that would fit right, look good and be durable enough to last, since removing the original was rather uncomfortable and not something I care to do frequently. I tried three different 'real diamond' numbers, all of which were either too long, too short, or a narrower gauge than the original & kept falling out (not to mention the 'diamonds' were chips so tiny you couldn't see them).

Then I saw Body Candy's ad for a Zircon stud for less than half what the diamond ones were costing, and with a prong 'claw' setting instead of the traditional 'Martini Cup' style which doesn't grip the jewel as firmly. One reviewer had complained that the ball at the bottom end was uncomfortably big for their piercing, but since I'd had trouble with studs falling out, that sounded like a plus to me, and it was! This stud fits exactly like the one that was put in when I was first pierced and it stays firmly in place. The Zircon jewel looks nice, not invisibly tiny, not big enough to be gaudy, and if you don't tell anyone its not a real diamond, they'll never know. I'm thrilled to have finally found one that fits jUuUUuUuuSst right and even more thrilled that it didn't cost much. Here's hoping they bury me in this one.

2ball on back TOO BIGMar 30, 2011
By Eboni
When I received this item I was very pleased with its appearance... BUT when I tried to put it in my nose, the ball on the back was so big that it wouldn't fit! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

3Much too long for my small noseApr 23, 2009
By Stefanie Scott "Miss Scott"
The size of the solitaire stud is perfect and looks very cute in my nose. However, I have a really small nose and found the post to be much too long to wear everyday because it actually touched the inside of the same nostril on the other side. If you have an average sized nose, it will be perfect for you. If you have a small nose, like myself, I would recommend getting a plastic/acrylic/bioplast screw and trimming it down.18 Gauge 1/4 Inches White Gold 1.5mm Clear Cubic Zirconia Bioplast Nose Ring

3great for price, good if you don't mind painApr 23, 2009
By B. Peterson "petey13"
I bought this stud about 2 months ago, and so far it's been pretty good. It's very sparkly, and is a good size for those looking for something small. The only thing I don't like is the fact that it gets snagged on every thing, but overall, it's a good stud for a great price.

Update after a year: I would recommend not getting a bone nose stud. Taking it out and putting it in really hurts, more than it did when I actually got my nose pierced. It bleeds everytime and it won't go in unless you get it at just the right angle. Taking it out is really hard also and you have to rip it out. I would suggest just a straight fishtail or L-shape for easy in and out access.
