I bought this industrial jewlery a few months ago under the impression it was made out of surgical steel since that's what it says in the description. I wore this jewelry for a few weeks and soon realized my ear had somehow began to keloid. I took the jewelry out and then saw that the silver paint or plating that had been put on this jewelry had come off on the back of the brass knuckles. Surgical steel does not appear to rust or have paint come off so for your own piercing health please don't purchase this product.
