This belly "ring" is silicon- implying it will be flexible through your belly growth in pregnancy... Although the bar is flexible, it is a straight bar that is minimally flexible. It can be bent easily between your fingers but does not hold that shape. When wearing it, it straightens out and pulls on the skin causing way more irritation than a traditional belly ring.

The item came in very good time & had no issues with the seller. The ring itself, however, could be much better. The rod is way too long for practical use. I'm 6 months pregnant & 3/4 of the rod sticks out awkwardly beneath my clothing. There are no cutting instructions provided & each trim seems to make it worse as it won't cut straight, only to a point . My navel's been pierced for nine years & this ring made it bleed for the first time since getting it done. The rod is a bendy plastic that doesn't glide very well through the piercing. Much prefer metal rings. The bump sign is very cute and I will use it for maternity photos, but it's impractical for daily wear.

I'm a little disappointed because this item was so cute. I've had it less than a week and it's already broken. It seems during my daily schedule the "bump" sign came detached from the plastic rod - so I'm just left with the single ball on top and the rod. If its not something you plan on wearing everyday it would probably hold up just fine, but I wore it continuously for several days.

Really fun to look at. Fits almost any size belly. Wife gets alot of comments on it. Would recommend buying.
